Olivia Terzon
Assistant Coach

Olivia Terzo is in her fourth year as an assistant coach with the Briar Cliff volleyball program.  During that stretch, she has helped the Cliff to a pair of national tournament appearances. She came to Briar Cliff after two seasons as the head volleyball coach at Indian Land High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina. She also served as the junior varsity basketball coach at Indian Land.

Terzo was a three-year starter at libero at Charleston Southern University, in Charleston, South Carolina. The three-time scholar-athlete led the team in digs from 2005 until 2007. She earned the squad's Buccaneer Award in 2006. She graduated in December of 2007 with a bachelor's of science degree in physical education after serving as the assistant head coach at Fort Dorchester High School in Charleston, S.C. during the fall of 2007.

At Indian Land High School, Terzo was a four-year volleyball letterwinner and a three-time all-state selection. The 2003 Lancaster County Player of the Year led her team to a state championship in 2001 and a runner-up finish in 2002.

She also has club experience and has worked numerous camps including ones at Charleston Southern and Francis Marion University.


Andrea Jensen
Assistant Coach

Andrea Jensen enters her first year as assistant coach for the Briar Cliff men’s and women’s volleyball program. She comes to Briar Cliff from Kansas City where she was the assistant director and national head coach for the Southwind Rising Volleyball Club for the past four years. Jensen has eight years of volleyball coaching experience and led the Shenandoah High School volleyball team to their first winning season in four years. She previously coached volleyball and softball at Bishop Ireton High School, and club volleyball at Evolution Volleyball Club, both in Alexandria, Virginia.

Jensen is a native of Red Oak, Iowa where she was a four-year varsity volleyball and softball letter-winner. She led Red Oak to back-to-back state volleyball runner-up finishes in 1997 and 1998. She garnered multiple all conference awards in volleyball, softball and basketball. In 2000, Jensen was named female athlete-of-the-year by her high school.

Jensen attended Wartburg College and played volleyball and tennis before transferring to the University of Kansas. She graduated from KU with a degree in Political Science and worked in the U.S. Senate for four years.


Josh Anderson
Graduate Assistant

Josh Anderson is in his second year as a graduate assistant with the Briar Cliff volleyball program.  He was born in Torrance, Calif. and is a recent graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.  At Endicott, Anderson graduated with a degree in sports management while participating on the men’s volleyball team.  His senior season, he earned all-conference honorable mention honors as his team won the second of back-to-back conference championships and advanced to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight.  Anderson also completed a semester-long internship at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. in the ticketing and marketing department while academically earning a spot on the dean's list. 

During his high school career, Anderson played volleyball and basketball at La Salle High School in Pasadena, California.  There, he earned first team all-league honors for two-consecutive years in both sports as well as earning second team all-CIF.  Following his senior season, he was selected to participate in the Pasadena Star News All-Star basketball game and dunk contest.  He was also inducted to the La Salle High School Hall of Fame for volleyball.  He is the son of Bill and Joan Anderson and his younger brother is an athletic training major at the University of La Verne.


Hannah Scholten
Student Assistant

2014: Appeared in 10 games during second season with Briar Cliff...recorded nine digs and two kills.

2013: In first season with the Charger volleyball program...played in four games while recording 15 digs and one ace.

HS: Volleyball letterwinner for the Nighthawks of Murrieta Valley HS

Personal: Daughter of Craig and Dora Scholten...nursing major...enjoys the musical stylings of Luke Bryan...favorite fast food is In-N-Out...enjoys spending time outdoors.
